LEO Musical Charity Concert

Finally, reunited with my laptop again. I can't believe my dad now wants to freaking keep my laptop on weekdays.

Last Saturday was the Leo Joint Musical Charity Concert Project at Taylors Hall Subang campus.

I was performing with my band. Our name on that day was, Jumping Jane. Once again, created by me, a few minutes before we went up stage. We have such a bad habit of changing our names often. On that day itself, we went from 10'5 (10 OH 5), to Fantesticle and finally Jumping Jane.
But no worries, it's all settled now. We're sticking with the name Plan-T! Go ahead click it :p

We really spent a lot of money on this gig. We even payed more to perform than what the guests payed to see the show. Nevertheless, the experience was priceless. Thanks to Hot Attics also, the other band that performed on that day who helped us out a lot with the equipments!

This is the only shot I have of you guys, you gotta admit it's an awesome one!

We played 2 songs on that day. Sugar Were Going Down and Move Along. The crowd was great too, very supportive. This was so much better than Overodse. Although the stage was missing a mic for me but whatever, it was still great.

There was a dance performance before us, so the drumset and amps were not set up yet. After the dance, the had the curtains closed. We rushed to get all the things in place and as fast as we could. Oh this was the time I brain stormed a band name out! So after the got the things ready, the curtains opened slowly. We started making noise. Drums, guitars, distortion, everything and the crowd kept cheering!

I have to admit that I was really nervous before the performance because all the other acts were really good, but after that awesome opening & crowd, it all went away!

Performance was great. Kemuel dropped his drumstick twice.
They were also raising funds for a breast cancer campaign. They even had

'samples' ? For us curious people to fondle. It felt real, but to feel the breast with the cancer tumor inside, that was freaky. Kemuel really enjoyed this moment. The girl in charge of the booth even took a photo of us, sigh. Now our picture is gonna be on some breast cancer campaign website

Overall, the concert was great. Entertaining the whole way, all that was missing was an after party. Since exams were just a week away, we couldn't have one. Made a lot of new friends too, members of Hot Attics, beat boxers and rappers, and other school students! Well, this is a new start for us

That's all (:

p.s. Plan-T will be performing for DU Leo Fund Raising Concert on 2nd of April @ TTDI Cimmunity Hall! Come join us!
