Oh look, the gig's TOMORROW. We're still 'deciding' songs. Not to mention that we haven't even completed the confirmed songs yet. Well, whatever I guess. So, we spent most of the time in the studio, arguing

Because we are finally free

So, as you know, exams ended today, for my school. I went back early, if you didn't know, to send my parents, for their Haji. They'll be away for one and a half months. When I got home, my house, the scene was like someone had just passed away

quite, full of tears, people everywhere. When we were giving the 'doa' for my parents, my mums best friend came up crying to me, asking for me number, incase of anything. It was difficult but the tears were still managed to be kept to myself.

As we left, I was sitting in the back seat in between my parents. Hardly any words were spoken.

So we reached, there were hundreds of people there. My brother got out of school early too, but a little later. He hugged my parents and all but he was still smiling, so I couldn't be sad in front of him. Hours later, they finally got their 'tags' and they had to go into the gates. Hmm again, tears were everywhere. This time, my brother did cry. Oh how I could not held it in anymore. I hugged my parents for the last time.



Anyway, Overdose is this Saturday at TTDI Community Hall. I hope I can perform well, with all this shits and so messing up my mind. One more time, I've gotta push everything else away. Focus my dear, focus. I guess this time I'll really be put up to the test, to perform, while knowing that something is not right somewhere. God, don't let down. It's not just me, it's the band.

Quick Update 5

So we made it through the auditions!

Hmm, feels good. So, we'll be performing/competing against a few other good bands for first place on 7th November at, unfortunately we don't even know where the gig is held at.

Music Overdose

Feels good to be back in the studio.

So, today was the Overdose Gig auditions at Akarkarya. This was all really last minute decisions. We only decided to join the gig this week, and auditions were just days away. Not to mention all of us are in the middle of our exams. Haha how to concentrate for exams?!

Anyway, today, we practiced for the first time as a band. Practice was at 10 and I woke up at 9.30. Thank God I called Kemuel if not he would of still be sleeping. So, 30 mins left. I packed my guitar and changed my clothes, and yeah, no bath :)


Bla bla bla then lunch at McD's. Back to Akarkarya for auditions after that. The whole place was full. 18 bands if i'm not mistaken? I think some of them were even primary students. So small, not cute though haha. We performed Poppin' Champagne and Face Down. Well half of both the songs since we didn't have much time.


I say we did really good for a band who practiced only once. Haha what to do, inner rockstar-ism shines. So checkout the gig blog. The link is at the top of the post. I don't know if we made through or not so, keep checking! Oh and if we do, make sure you come see us perform on the 7th of November at God knows where.

I'm positioned in such a way that I don't even have to move to know what is going on the laptop. I can see it, from the side of my small half Malay half Chinese eyes. Turning off the laptop doesn't help in any way because then, there's the iPhone. I can't turn off the phone right?! So I might as well leave it on. I'll show you, how my table looks like

Anyway I ditched the old blogging app because it didn't support pictures. This is a new app, I don't even remember what it's called but who cares. I can blog with pictures in my posts, from the comfort of, my phone. Hmm :)

Exams are in 2 days and all I can think about it the after party. Let's see, I haven't started on biology, add maths, maths, physics, bahasa and english (who does?). I would like to continue on my rant but it's quite, boring to look at this tiny screen for too long.

There's always a first

This is my first blog post from my iPhone. I think I'll post many 'mini' updates to my blog using my phone. So much cooler.

So, exams have been delayed for 2 days. Not to mention the fact the we have to bloody go to school this saturday to take our exams since were taking Tuesday off too. Ish..

My brothers birthday is tomorrow. My parents are getting 'us' a wii. Great, right before exams! Ngeh :) Theyre also gonna be away during my exams so God knows what will happen to my grades this time.

Hmm I wonder how this post will turn out.

My phone, has been 'sean-ed'. In other words it's been annoying me. It keeps disconnecting from my wifi and connecting to the 3G network. Which is fine if 3G was free! It can happen when I'm on facebook, ebuddy, ugh just so annoying.

Did you know, my class had 5 periods of Biology yesterday? Thank God I skipped school. That's child abuse!

Seriously Sophia? Ditching me for 3 weeks and skipping exam isn't really the treatment your cousin should get. I think we've changed a lot. Well I have physically, you haven't. I know my mind is still the 10 year old that you have to take care off and all but, what the hell am I saying..

Facebook notofications are quite annoying? Like Sean. Especially when your tagged onto something and everyone just floods it with comments and your notifications go up like hitting a jackpot.

For your information, I have not studied in 2 days. I've been busy dealing with life.

I will write a book, called 'Life 101, Birth to Death'. Watch out for it in the upcoming years. International bestseller. Hmm, oh if you're wondering its not gonna be the novel type of books where every page has around 500 words written in front 10. No effing way. My books will have a few meaningful words with pictures on every page about life. Hmm, oh you bet it's gonna happen.

One thing for sure is, class is definitely boring without guitars and iPhones.

I miss music classes in school. I still remember my primary days where we had to learn how to play the recorder. I must say I rocked at it!


I wonder why theres no music classes in secondary :/ Bummer. Well anyway, that's theres people like us, rule breakers! School should have a period just for Homework. HW. So that we can play around and not do our homework, duh.


Sean has been 'cool' these past few days in school. Haha, no joke. The midget threw a paper ball into one of the ventilation fans in the classroom and made it stopped. Aww


My class is the coolest, without a doubt. The shit we do and go through. Priceless. Okay maybe last year, 3 Belian wasn't so bad too. Come one, Stefan brought a blow torch to school and we started melting tables in class, while our super blurr maths teacher was teaching. Not to mention setting peoples shoe on fire! Shheessh, good times.

Finally, in the mood to blog! Sadly, no topic. It never works both ways eh. I'll just start telling you guy random stories about my holidays so far to keep this blog updated!


So, its the raya holidays. I went to my cousins house, don't remember where the first one was but the second house was in a golf resort in Seremban. They're all so mentally and physically matsalleh-ish haha. I found out that I have this Uncle, who has never been to the hospital or received medical treatment before (besides the obvious, if you get what I mean). When we ask him how he does it, he says

I don't worry!

He just doesn't worry?! Wth. He says that he doesn't even think about going for treatments or anything, he always stays happy and a lot more.


I wish I was like it, maybe I am, a little. Haha but being a student, stress is just like a part of your soul. Then someone asked him

Do you drink a lot of warm water or juices?
No, I drink everything except water.
Why?!
Because it's tasteless!

I felt like putting 16 years of my life for drinking water like a psycho, thinking that it will at least help me, on Fmylife.com


I'm guessing he's right. Stay happy, stop worrying too much. It kills you, literally.

The second day or Raya was spent in Bentong. There's nothing much there, in fact, there's nothing there! I'm not gonna say much since I got food poisoned there, I'll talk about that later. Anyway, if you happen to be in Raub, Bentong. You have to go and try their cendol. Best in Malaysia! Mmmm. Everytime we go there, we would bring back like 20 packets home. The best part is the shop owner used to be my dad's classmate.


Back to food poisoning. I think it's the worst one I've ever had. It was just so horrible and uncomfortable I couldn't lay on my bed or even sit up straight on my chair! I puked 3 times and I've never recalled puking being so painful! It felt like my insides were being pulled out. Ugh, I don't want to get into detail. It, sucked. Thank God it's all over now and the fever has gone away. I can proudly say I fought of the viruses like Pikachu.

While I was playing with my "Sim" on my phone, I realized that it can do something really asian-ly cool!

Speaking of killing, yesterday, I lost my damn Nike shoes which I use for school! I lost it at home. My dad's gym shoes were stolen too! Bloody robbers! Not to mention stupid! I hope you get into a car accident with you children so that you can look at each other dying slowly! Fags.

Hmph, I have a lot of homework to do now.

Additional Maths? or Additional Pain?

I've watched Bruno, Talentime and District 9 in the past 2 days. Sad to say, the Malaysian movie Talentime, was the best among the 3 (inside malaysian joke lah). District 9 had nice CGI effects but the storyline was just really boring. Bruno was just a wtf movie. Any movie with Sacha Baron Coner, famously known as Borat, will suck. It's funny, but just plain retarded.


I haven't had that ice cream in such a long time. It still has the same taste as it had from when it first came out. I seriously cannot describe the taste but it's just so joyful! Bring back primary school memories. After the bell rings, we'd rush out to the Mat Kool ice cream dude and buy the ice cream. Mhmm good times.

Now after school, mamak mamak mamak that's all you'll hear. Anyway I'm out of word so here's a drawing I did during add maths of some of you guys in my class, haha you know who you are so, just look around. I repeat, it's just some of you people!


Oh right, today we had a talk about HIV and Aids from the people of AEISEC. They even demonstrated to us on how to use a condom! Haha. At least today wasn't so boring.

Quick Update 4

I've been visiting this blog quite often lately, then I realized, this is my blog and it's slowly fading away.

Puasa is about to end, followed by Raya and holidays. I hate the fact that people are already studying for the finals. You'll always feel the regret when you don't study. Hmm, when will I start? The weather would always be so darn hot in school, and I'd get so thirsty. It doesn't help that I'm fasting and can only rely on saliva to live.

Gosh, life is so complicated right now. Don't know what to do, don't know what will happen if I do and what happens if I don't. Ish, thank god I have my friends to talk to. Oh look at the time

Oh look, form 2! (; Not to forget Kheng, Ry Ann, Kamal, Cik Noor Aini and Cik Suraini who came too! I still have the cast in my room. Another year is another accident for me, don't you think so? Haha.

If I'm not mistake today is the 16th day of fasting? Oh wow, time has passed really fast.

Human after all

Back to school today, not to mention first do of puasa in school. Well nothing much happened today, I was just really really, hungry.

Yesterday was Malaysia's 52nd. I performed at Yamaha's Merdeka Concert in Subang Parade. The place was crowded but the crowd was so, un-supportive?! As usual I got to pick my own guitars. Hehe being a rockstar I choose the most expensive acoustic and electric guitar! There were Epiphone's but I was only allowed to use Yamaha guitars.


The stage set up was quite, weird for a national day concert? It was, like, a jungle! Tree's everywhere. I was hardly seen in any of the videos recorded because there was a tree right in front of me. What the. Anyway I couldn't memorize the chords for the songs since I didn't practice so I made this


and stuck them on the body of the acoustic guitar! We also used digital drums for the performance. It was cool and all but the sound was horrible haha.


So then we performed. Nothing much? Crowd was silent. Haha Mrs. Superstar Lynn here asked the crowd to clap along and haha, no one clapped. Lynn haha, aww.


Currently I don't have the video so I'll just put the up on the next post, or not. To summarize the whole performance I guess we did fine. Better than the previous ones. We weren't so nervous this time. Too bad the crowd was so helpful.

I've been busy

These past few days have been filled outings and other stuff. I don't think I want to blog about them in detailed so I'll post up a few pics and a summary of it!

Class outing, failed, Sean sucks at organizing. Got to meet up with the classmates! I made Gaston bleed. Aww (: We watched I love you, Beth Cooper. It was, quite funny but they censored out a lot of scenes?!!?!

Thursday 27th August

Oh, it was a great day out. I got to shop for some new clothes too (: We watched Aliens in the Attic. Better than Beth Cooper!

Yesterday was a great day at school (:

So, I brought my Ukulele, Tian Xi brought his acoustic guitar, Kemuel brought his snare drum, and Esfern and me, brought our drumsticks. I'm so happy we did, really really am! Heh we are the last hope to bring up the Malaysian music industry!


The day started off like any other day, dull-ish but I got extra attention for having a cute Ukulele in my hands! Sean was still annoying though. Our class has been at the Lab everyday for the whole week since the Form 3's and Form 5's were having they're trials. Hmm, next year, next year. For now, **** it.


I can't explain to you but yesterday just felt really good. The atmosphere was perfect, except for when Sean started talking. Teacher's were really nice and supportive, hehe thank you! We played during English, Maths and Physics. It's was such an unstressful day at school. Imagine studying with some random haiwaiian music playing from the back of the class! Everyday should be like today!


The 'concert' started during Physics. To tell you the truth we didn't even prepare for a song or anything! Ms Winnie just called us all up during Physics to perform! I bet your class teacher ain't cool as OURS! Our class teacher; Ms Winnie

So, being the rockstars we are, we went up in front, unprepared.



Kemuel, started playing a song only he knew among us 3. So, we just followed his stupid lead. Best of all, it turned out really well and we got everyone into the song! After a few lines he forgot the lyrics so he just made his own about the people in our class! It didn't really, went with the song but no one cares, the whole class laughed!
